ICON Vallarta

Starck's first building in Mexico, by the accounts that reach the register. ICON Vallarta stands on Bahía de Banderas in Puerto Vallarta's northern hotel zone: three towers of privately owned flats of one to three bedrooms, some with private lifts, around infinity and lap pools, a beach club, a spa and a library, designed by YOO in the Starck manner.

Every source the register could reach is a rental listing. No developer release, completion year, unit count or price was found in this pass; what is written here comes from owners letting their own flats and from travel sites describing the building. The record is thin and says so — it is the fifth YOO project in the register, after Hong Kong, Jeddah, the Cotswolds and Bangkok.
