The Residences at Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ras El Hekma
Mountain View Ras El Hekma, Egypt's North Coast. Two hundred and eighty homes under a brand that has never had residences before.
IHG's boutique marque sells houses for the first time, in Egypt. The Residences at Hotel Indigo Mountain View Ras El Hekma is 280 branded residential units — studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments — beside a 100-key Hotel Indigo, in Mountain View's gated beachfront masterplan on the Mediterranean coast. IHG states plainly that this is the debut of the world's first branded residences under the Hotel Indigo brand. Haitham Mattar, managing director for India, Middle East and Africa, called the signing a milestone for Hotel Indigo globally; Amr Soliman, founder and executive chairman of Mountain View, signed for the developer.
The developer says what the brand does not own. Mountain View's own page for the scheme carries the sentence the register looks for and rarely finds stated so plainly: the company is not owned, developed or sold by IHG, and operates under a limited licence to use the Hotel Indigo name. Ras El Hekma now carries four register records — Montage, Nammos, The Ritz-Carlton Residences at The Med, and this — on a coast that had none two years ago.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants the operator on the hook: the developer has published, in its own words, that IHG neither owns nor sells this.

28.09.2026 · AMAALA sells before it opens — and a clinic becomes a residence brand
Five records at Triple Bay, AMAALA, and the pattern in them is the one worth naming: the residences proved a price before the resorts proved international demand. Nammos sold half of its twenty apartments within two weeks of launch; one of the twenty-six Rosewood villas had gone by December 2025; the Four Seasons resort and its twenty-six villas opened on 15 June 2026, the first resort at AMAALA to open at all.
Investment migration — the facts the rule turns on
The rule for Egypt: Citizenship and residence by investment — checked 24.09.2026.
The register publishes the facts and the rule; it does not say whether any purchase qualifies. Eligibility attaches to a sale, not to a building, and the register is not immigration counsel.
