Six Senses Residences The Palm, Dubai
Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Six Senses. One hundred and seventy-two residences on Palm Jumeirah, with a 61-key hotel and a wellness building of sixty thousand square feet.
The wellness facility is the product, not an amenity, and that is what a wellness brand actually sells. Six Senses Place runs to 60,000 square feet — massage circuit pool, saunas, hammam, cryo chamber, an anti-ageing clinic, an alchemy bar, treatment rooms, squash court, gym, co-working and a kids club. Set beside 172 residences and a 61-key hotel, the ratio tells you which of the three the developer thinks people are buying.
It is the UAE's first Six Senses residences and hotel, developed by Select Group with the brand. The register files Six Senses under Volume V, Wellness Residences, and this record is the clearest illustration of why that volume exists separately from hospitality: the differentiator is a building full of clinical equipment, not a lobby.
Palm Jumeirah is a made island of made islands, and Six Senses — a brand built on remote and unspoilt places — arriving on it is a fact the register records without comment.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants the Six Senses of the jungle and the atoll: this is the same brand doing an urban beachfront tower. Not for anyone who will not use the wellness building — it is the reason the pricing sits where it does.
