A tower on the Strip without a casino: 47 storeys by KPF at CityCenter, opened in December 2009 as the Mandarin Oriental, with 389 hotel rooms rising to a sky lobby on the 23rd floor and 225 privately owned residences above. When new owners bought the hotel for USD 214 million in 2018, the name on the building changed to Waldorf Astoria; the residents' homes changed brand with it.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Residences — 225 homes above a hotel with no casino — were Mandarin Oriental residences until the building was sold in 2018; the record carries both brands and the date. The Summit Club, Discovery Land's members' community under Red Rock Canyon, is sized differently by every source, from 555 acres to 600 and from 137 houses to 270.
