If the reported figure holds, this is the largest Aman residential development anywhere — up to two hundred homes from USD 20 million at about USD 7,000 a square foot, inside the 17.5-acre One Beverly Hills masterplan at Wilshire and Santa Monica. Nine times the twenty-two at Miami Beach, from the same developer, in the same year.
One broker source stands behind the number and the register says so. Two hundred homes would make this an outlier in a brand built on scarcity: Aman New York has twenty-two, Tokyo ninety-one, Niseko thirty-one. The figure is carried as reported, with the source named, and will move when the developer publishes.
Kerry Hill Architects designed the homes — the same practice as Aman Niseko and, per its own record, the last Maldives commission it took. OKO Group develops with Cain International, and the Aman Club is attached.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer expecting the Aman of the resorts: two hundred homes on an urban masterplan is a different proposition from thirty-one villas on a mountain. Not for anyone who needs the count settled — it rests on one published source.
