The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach

Sunny Isles Beach. The Ritz-Carlton. 212 homes in an Arquitectonica droplet on 250 feet of sand — and no hotel.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

A glass droplet by Arquitectonica on 250 feet of Sunny Isles sand, 52 storeys and 212 homes with interiors by the Florentine designer Michele Bönan, run by The Ritz-Carlton with no hotel and no short-term letting — a private building with hotel service and a club floor on the 33rd. Fortune International and Château Group broke ground in June 2016 with two-thirds already sold.

Completion is 2018 in most sources and summer 2019 in one. One listing gives the tower a height of 649 feet — the figure given for the Armani/Casa tower up the beach, and probably carried over; no other source states a height. The register records 2018 and no height.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer who wants to let by the night: the building forbids transient use.

22.09.2026 · United States, run 1 — Miami: a supertall, an implosion, and César Pelli's last tower

Up the beach at Sunny Isles, two finished towers: Residences by Armani/Casa, César Pelli's last building, completed months after his death, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach, a droplet by Arquitectonica with no hotel inside. A listing gives the Ritz-Carlton the Armani tower's height, almost certainly by carrying it over; the register records no height rather than a borrowed one.
