Almost no record here can show both halves of a prediction, and this one can. In 2022 the Los Angeles Times reported that the largest home — 7,300 square feet with a private pool and a 2,500-square-foot terrace — *might ask as much as USD 40 million*, called a record for the region's condominium market. The penthouse later listed at USD 45 million. The forecast was beaten, and the register carries the 2022 figure beside the 2026 one because that is evidence about the market rather than about the building.

The completion forecast went the other way. In May 2024 the project was to be *completed and welcoming residents by the end of this year*; it is reported complete and move-in ready in 2026. A permission is not a delivery, and neither is a press date.
