Legacy Hotel & Residences, Miami Worldcenter

Miami Worldcenter. Legacy. 278 sold-out micro-homes over a hotel — halted mid-rise since March 2024 and in foreclosure.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

Sold out and stopped. Royal Palm Companies broke ground in 2021 on a 50-storey tower at Miami Worldcenter — 278 small 'Microluxe' homes, freely lettable by the night, above a 255-room hotel and a 50,000-square-foot medical and wellness centre — promised for 2023 or 2024. Work halted in March 2024; in July 2025 the lender Monarch filed to foreclose over USD 31.9 million, and the developer countersued, alleging sabotage.

Legacy is the developer's own name, not a hotel company's; the register holds it as developer-signature. Its dates have ranged from 2023 to 2027 across sources, and its counts from 274 homes and 256 rooms to 278 and 255. No source reached reports construction resumed.

Who it is not for

Not for any buyer who needs certainty: construction has stood still since March 2024 and the loan is in foreclosure.
