Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences
Midtown, Miami. Jean-Georges. The chef's first homes — 48 storeys by Arquitectonica, with his restaurants below.
Jean-Georges Vongerichten's first residential building: 48 storeys by Arquitectonica with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg on First Avenue between Midtown and the Design District, with two of his restaurants at street level and a third kept for residents. Terra and Lion Development launched it in October 2024 from USD 1.6 million, on a site they had bought for USD 40 million.
320 condos in the launch release, 329 on a listing site; completion 2027 by the developer's spokesperson in 2024, 2028 on another listing. The register records the launch figures. Despite its name the building is inland, not in the tropics of the bay.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants the water: the site is inland, by Midtown.

22.09.2026 · United States, run 2 — Florida: chefs as brands, a stalled tower, and a hotel's shifting counts
Two Miami towers carry restaurateurs' names rather than hoteliers'. Villa Miami, in a cast-bronze frame on the bay, is to be run by Major Food Group, of Carbone — and gives its number of homes as 72 and 64 on the same page. Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences is the chef's first building, 48 storeys by Arquitectonica, inland by Midtown.
