One Bloor West
Yonge and Bloor. Eighty-five storeys, four hundred and seventy-six condominium suites, Canada's first supertall — and a building that changed developer in the middle of its own construction.
The developer's page is where this record's hardest sentence lives. Tridel's FAQ for One Bloor West states that it has been development, construction and sales manager since 1 May 2025 and that Mizrahi Developments is no longer involved — a developer handover on a partially built eighty-five-storey tower, published by the party that took it over. Interim occupancy is given as spring 2027 and completion as early 2028, with 476 condominium suites. Tridel calls the takeover “an important milestone in the journey to revitalize this iconic project.”
The architect attribution does not come from the architect. Foster + Partners' own project page for the building returns a 404. The attribution here rests on press and on the developer's material, and the register records that rather than citing a practice page it could not read. A 404 is not a denial; it is also not a source.
The claim on the card is a record claim and belongs to the building, not to a marque. Canada's first supertall — above three hundred metres — with no hotel, no brand licence and no operator. The register carries it on the landmark shelf for exactly that reason: the argument is the building. And it is a condominium, which in Toronto means a non-Canadian cannot buy a suite in it before 1 January 2027, including off the primary sales programme now running.
Who it is not for
Not for a non-Canadian buyer before 1 January 2027, and the primary sales programme is running now. Not for a buyer who wants branded service: there is no hotel and no operator.

13.10.2026 · Canada's two index cities, and a marque found missing from under three hundred estates
The UBS Global Real Estate Bubble Index 2026 names twenty-three cities. The register holds all twenty-three in the atlas and held published records in fourteen. Toronto and Vancouver were two of the nine blanks. They are blanks no longer: thirteen records, six in each city and one lifted out of intake, every one verified against an operator, a developer or an architect page rather than an agent's listing.
Investment migration — the facts the rule turns on
The rule for Canada: No property route — and a purchase ban to 2027 — checked 24.09.2026.

The register publishes the facts and the rule; it does not say whether any purchase qualifies. Eligibility attaches to a sale, not to a building, and the register is not immigration counsel.
