Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences

Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. Louvre Abu Dhabi. The first homes to carry a museum's name, with the museum as a club.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

The first residences anywhere to carry the name of a museum. One hundred and eighty-six studios and apartments of up to three bedrooms beside the Louvre Abu Dhabi in the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island, built by Aldar in its AED 8 billion Saadiyat Grove community and launched in early 2022 from AED 1.3 million. The brand's privilege is the museum itself: owners join a 'Grove Circle' with free entry to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, art reveals, classes and an annual residents' evening in the galleries.

The register adds a licensor it has not held before — after a football club at Chelsea Residences and a beach club at Nammos, a museum. Completion was forecast for the first quarter of 2025, December 2025 and, at one portal, the first quarter of 2027; a 2026 source describes the building as finished and adds five-bedroom penthouses of up to 13,246 square feet that no earlier source mentions.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer who wants a large apartment: most homes are studios to two bedrooms.

22.09.2026 · Research intake, run 6 — a museum as a brand, and a palace on the auction block

ORLA, Foster + Partners' ninety-one residences at the apex of the Palm, has its height, count and handover each published two or three ways, and one broker's entry price of AED 72 million for a two-bedroom sits beside two others near AED 18–20 million; a second building, ORLA Infinity, is held within the record until a second source establishes it. Louvre Abu Dhabi Residences are the first homes to carry a museum's name — owners' membership is free entry to the Louvre next door — and add a licensor the register had not held: after a football club and a beach club, a museum.
