The register recorded Shenzhen as a documented absence three days ago and this resolves it — with an unbranded building. The world's second billionaire city has no branded residence the register can evidence, and it has this: 156 units launched on 28 December 2025, more than RMB 10 billion taken in two hours, eighty per cent of the release. A national record for sales velocity.
Sea-view flats of 302 to 370 square metres and two duplex penthouses of 519 and 658, at RMB 176,000 to 380,000 per square metre, averaging RMB 244,000. A further seventy-eight units sold out in thirty minutes on 23 May 2026.
A city can be second in the world for billionaires, hold no branded residence at all, and still set the national record for demand. That sentence is why the register writes absences down instead of leaving cities blank.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer at all in any ordinary sense: the units were gone in hours and the register documents the event rather than an opportunity. Not for anyone who wants freehold — mainland tenure is a seventy-year land-use right.
