N°001 Minami Aoyama

This record holds a single house, and the register keeps it as a development because nothing sits above it. There is no tower, no association, no shared lobby — one address, one owner, one building. Every other automotive record here counts residences in the hundreds; this one counts one, and the rule that governs the difference is the same rule either way.

N°001 Minami Aoyama was built with VIBROA Inc., designed by Aston Martin with the Tokyo studio Intentionallies: four storeys over an excavated basement, three en-suite bedrooms, a façade of vertical metal louvers, and an automotive gallery for two cars that organises the entire plan rather than sitting beside it. Aston Martin's first residential project in Asia and its third worldwide.

The dates are worth carrying. The house was published as a concept in November 2022 with completion targeted for 2023 and was announced complete on 26 June 2025 — two years late against its own launch, which is ordinary in this market and almost never recorded.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer who wants a serviced building: there is no operator, only VIBROA's concierge arrangement around a private house. Not for anyone indifferent to the cars — the gallery is the plan, and the house is organised around showing two vehicles.
