Tonino Lamborghini Residences Dubai
Meydan, Dubai. Tonino Lamborghini. Begun in 2017 for 8,000 homes, resumed by a new developer for 541.
A project that shrank by a factor of fifteen and changed hands on the way. Construction began in Meydan in October 2017 for handover in January 2022; in 2021 the then developer, Oriental Pearls, announced 4.6 million square feet and nearly 8,000 apartments for 2024. The site passed to Gulf Land Property Developers, whose chairman speaks of having 'inherited a responsibility to restore confidence', and it is now four towers of 541 homes, studios to four bedrooms, 51.85 per cent built in March 2026 by the Land Department's count, for handover in the first quarter of 2027.
In April 2026 the developer bought back forty-one of its own units for AED 150 million — 7.5 per cent of the project — and announced it as a sign of investor confidence. The brand is Tonino Lamborghini's, the founder's son's design house — not Automobili Lamborghini, the car maker; the Library holds it as Tonino Lamborghini Residences (LHL-A-006). One broker still names Oriental Pearls as developer.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants a project with an uninterrupted history: it was begun, stalled, resized and resumed under a new developer.

In the journal
Tonino Lamborghini Residences Dubai began in 2017 for handover in 2022, was announced in 2021 as nearly 8,000 homes, and is now 541 in four towers under a new developer, half built; in April 2026 the developer bought back forty-one of its own units. Lamborghini Mansions, forty villas by Emaar at Dubai Hills, is 'inspired by' Automobili Lamborghini in every source and licensed by it in none, so the register records the name without a brand.
