A tower in three layers: 371 residences from the seventh floor to the thirty-third, 321 hotel apartments above them, a 254-room SLS hotel from the 58th to the 67th, and 'The Crown' of restaurants, spa and rooftop pools at the top — the brand's first hotel in the Middle East, opened in February 2021. Aedas designed the honeycomb façade; Paul Bishop the interiors; World of Wonders Real Estate Development built it.
The internal figures agree with one another — 254, 321 and 371 make the 946 units every source gives, and a portal's breakdown of the residences by type sums to exactly 371. What varies is the outside: 75 storeys or 76; completion in October 2020 or March 2021; and one broker's 'approximately 900 residential properties', which counts the hotel's rooms and apartments as homes.
A second reading of the sources the same day found a listing portal's unit-by-unit breakdown — 68 studios, 24 one-bedrooms, 121 lofts, 114 duplexes, 40 two-bedroom duplexes and four two-bedroom lofts — which sums exactly to 371.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants a large home: the residences are studios to two-bedroom lofts and duplexes.

All four of this run's buildings stand finished. The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Business Bay — sixty-six furnished homes on the canal — shares its name with a second Ritz-Carlton Residences at MAG's Keturah resort, which calls itself the first in the UAE; and one broker gives its developer a name no other source knows. SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences stacks 371 homes, 321 hotel apartments and 254 rooms in one tower, and a portal's unit-by-unit breakdown sums exactly to the 371 the others give.
