Mercedes-Benz entered residential architecture through this tower, and the Library treats it as the programme's origin record. It is under construction in Downtown Dubai with Binghatti as developer, and it anchors a programme that now runs to three projects.
The register keeps the three apart on purpose. Mercedes-Benz Places Miami, with JDS Development Group, and Binghatti City in Meydan are separate developments under one brand, not phases of one scheme — a distinction the register got wrong once and corrected against the Library's master of 5 September.
As with every automotive residence in the register, the licence covers design and name. There is no operator, and the register does not imply one.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants brand service: this is design licensing, and the building will be run by its association. Not for anyone buying finished — it is under construction with no agreed completion date on the record.
