Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences

Business Bay, Dubai. Jacob & Co. A supertall tower meant to be the tallest residential building in the world.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

A jeweller's name on a supertall tower meant to be the world's tallest residential building, overtaking Central Park Tower in New York. Binghatti announced the partnership with Jacob & Co in November 2022 on a Business Bay plot first intended for a 44-storey building called Renaissance Tower; sales opened in June 2023. The 299 residences carry the names of Jacob & Co watches — Emerald and Ruby villas, Diamond sky mansions, Astronomia penthouses, the seven-bedroom Billionaire Sky Penthouse at the summit — each with a private pool.

Almost nothing structural is published once. The height is 557 metres on the encyclopaedia page, 595 metres in the same encyclopaedia's linked-data record, and 'not confirmed', around 472 metres, in a 2025 guide; the floors are 104, 105 or 'over 112'; handover is the second quarter of 2026 in brokers' copy and 2027 in the encyclopaedia, where above-ground work is dated only from February 2025. The top penthouses start at AED 175 million in one source and AED 500 million in another. In July 2026 a property research platform ran the headline that Binghatti would take a 'final decision' on the tower within one to three months — recorded as a headline, not as a finding about the project's fate.

Two records claim the same title. The register's Franck Muller Aeternitas, 450 metres in Dubai Marina, is marketed as the tallest branded residential tower in the world; this tower, at 557 metres, is marketed as the tallest residential building. Both cannot be true, and the register records each claim as its source makes it.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer who needs certainty that the tower will be built as announced: height, floor count and schedule vary by source, and a July 2026 headline speaks of a final decision still to be taken.

22.09.2026 · Research intake, run 1 — four from Dubai

Burj Binghatti and Franck Muller Aeternitas claim the same title from different heights: the first, 557 metres, the tallest residential building in the world; the second, 450 metres, the tallest branded residential tower. Aeternitas is a stalled tower revived under a watchmaker's name; Burj Binghatti's height, floor count and schedule vary by source, and a July 2026 headline speaks of a final decision still to come. One card first cited the wrong report for its project — the page had crossed over from its neighbour — and was corrected before publication.

22.09.2026 · Sources re-read: links restored to nineteen records, and five cards corrected

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Georgetown: the address stands at 3150 South Street in five sources against 3100 in one, and the architect itself dates the incinerator to 1932. Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co Residences gains a third height, 595 metres, from the encyclopaedia's own data record; W Residences Al Marjan Island and Four Seasons Private Residences Boston gain the licensors' disclaimers, and Hyde Residences Dubai Hills its interior designer and a second floor count.
