Armani/Casa Moscow Residences
Moscow, Russia. Finished in 2024 with interiors made under Giorgio Armani's own direction — and absent from Armani's list of its eleven projects.
This was held as an announcement and it is a finished building. The developer published its construction permit on 13 February 2024 and its commissioning permit on 29 July 2024; its project page reads «ДОМ ГОТОВ» and its photo archive runs to October 2024. Rossiyskaya Gazeta, 14 March 2025: the developer presented «полностью завершенные интерьеры резиденций и общественных пространств». Twenty-four residences of 158 to 263 square metres, architecture by John McAslan + Partners, landscape by Gillespies.
And the only party that publishes the Armani relationship is the developer. Vos'hod calls it «первый и единственный в России проект, созданный в партнерстве с легендарным итальянским домом Armani», with interiors by the Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio «под художественным руководством самого Джорджо Армани» — under Giorgio Armani's own artistic direction. Armani does not list it. Read in October 2026, armani.com's Armani/Casa interior-design-services page names eleven projects in nine cities — Miami, Istanbul, Tel Aviv twice, Mumbai, Beijing, London twice, Delhi, Rome and Manila — and neither Moscow nor Russia appears.
So the brand status is developer-asserted, which is a new value and the point of this record. Armani did not leave Russia and has not disowned anything; it simply does not carry the project. The difference between that and the Mandarin Oriental case matters: there, a marque that once published Moscow has stopped; here, a marque that never published it is claimed by a counterparty. A register with one field for both would lose the distinction, and the licence field now records which of the two it is on every Russian row.
The count is 24 or 27 and the speakers are one company apart. The developer's site gives 24 residences including three penthouses; Marina Rudneva, its managing partner, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta it «включает 24 квартиры и 3 пентхауса» — twenty-seven. Both are printed and 24 is in the inventory field, because the developer's own page is the narrower claim. No price is published by anyone, and no instrument: not a participation contract, not 214-FZ, not escrow, nowhere.
