Six Senses Residences Antognolla

Antognolla, Umbria. Six Senses. Seventy-nine homes around a twelfth-century castle on 540 hectares.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

A castle with a golf course and a farm. Castello di Antognolla, twelfth-century and built over a tenth-century Benedictine monastery north of Perugia, is being turned into a Six Senses of 71 rooms with 79 residences across a 540-hectare estate — apartments, two-bedroom villas and farmhouses of up to six bedrooms, with a Robert Trent Jones Jr course, an equestrian centre, a cookery school and an organic farm. Borgo Massarello was drawn with Woods Bagot.

The estate's own website says something else: seventeen villas and flats, against the brand's seventy-nine. The register records both and treats neither as settled; the difference may be one phase against the whole, but no source consulted says so.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer who wants a town at the gate: the nearest is Perugia, half an hour away.

In the journal

23.09.2026 · No country given, run 18 — an Alpine hotel with homes inside it, and an Umbrian castle that counts twice

Six Senses Residences Antognolla turns a twelfth-century Umbrian castle and its 540 hectares into 71 rooms and 79 residences — except on the estate's own website, which says seventeen. Both figures are in the record. Andermatt and Perugia were both in the atlas; the register's places now reach 341 codes.
