The first Six Senses in Britain.
Owners take the hotel's infrastructure — a 65-foot pool, the Six Senses Spa, a sports court — and membership of Six Senses Place, the brand's club. What is being sold at this scale is not the flat but the door into the building, which is the honest description of a fourteen-unit branded residence anywhere.
The Whiteley Suite is not one of them. It crowns the hotel with a 125-square-metre roof terrace and can be taken as a private floor; it is accommodation, it is bookable, and the register does not record it as a residence. That line — suite against residence — is the one this register exists to hold, and it runs through the middle of this building.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants space: one and two bedrooms in a converted department store, and the scale is the amenity rather than the apartment. Not for anyone who needs a freehold — English long leasehold is the form here and the term is unpublished.
