Palazzo Tornabuoni
Via Tornabuoni, Florence. A Medici palace of 1400s made Italy's first private residence club, run by Four Seasons.
A Medici palace sold in eighths. Fingen's property arm and the Washington firm Kitebrook spent five years restoring the fifteenth-century Palazzo Tornabuoni — frescoes, statues and a whole city block of it — into 38 residences with interiors by Michele Bonan, managed by Four Seasons: Italy's first private residence club, where members bought one-eighth fractions and gained memberships of the city's tennis and riding clubs with them.
Later the model changed: after the first phase sold out, 18 residences were released for whole ownership at EUR 1.6 to 5.1 million. The opening is 2007 in one account and April 2009 in another; the register records both. The reports named the palace without a country.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer who wants sole ownership by default: most residences here are fractional club shares.

Palazzo Tornabuoni in Florence is a fifteenth-century Medici palace restored over five years into 38 residences run by Four Seasons — Italy's first private residence club, where members bought one-eighth fractions before 18 whole-ownership homes were released at EUR 1.6 to 5.1 million.
