InterContinental Residences Phu Quoc Long Beach
The southern end of Long Beach, Phú Quốc. A hundred and fifteen apartments and five villas inside a 339-room resort that opened in 2018.
The island's first branded residence, and it came with the hotel. BIM Land's InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort opened in August 2018 and was inaugurated in January 2019: 9.2 hectares at the southern end of Long Beach, fifteen minutes from the airport, holding 339 hotel rooms alongside 115 residential apartments and five villas sold to owners and operated under the InterContinental name.
It is a condo-hotel, and the register says so rather than calling it a residence and leaving the reader to find out. The apartments sit in the resort's inventory and are let through it; what the buyer holds is a unit in a working hotel, which is a different asset from a villa with a rental option. The count the register carries — 120 homes — is the 115 apartments plus the five villas, because both were sold and neither is the hotel.
