Six Senses Residences The Forestias

The forest is younger than the houses and that is the whole idea. The Forestias is an urban forest grown from scratch on the Bang Na edge of Bangkok using the Miyawaki method of dense reforestation, now holding more than five hundred species of plant and animal. The twenty-seven villas sit on a residents-only lagoon at the mouth of the reserve.

Foster + Partners drew them through its Thai entity with DT Design for MQDC, and the architects reported the first phase complete in November 2024. Villas run three to five bedrooms and 791 to 1,480 square metres, each with a private pool, an onsen and an organic garden, linked to the wider masterplan by a treetop canopy walk.

The register files this under Villas rather than Hotel-Branded, and the distinction is worth stating: the residences are serviced by the Six Senses hotel on the same masterplan but are not inside it. A house on a shared estate is a different asset from an apartment above a lobby, whatever the name over the door.
