Anantara Dragon Seseh Bali Resort & Residences

Seseh Beach, Bali. Anantara. A dragon-shaped resort by John Dawes whose rooms are sold as residences — from USD 319,000.

Editorial entry · sources recorded · property confirmation pending

A resort shaped like the Barong, the dragon-guardian of Balinese myth, rising on the black volcanic sand of Seseh Beach near Canggu, designed by John Dawes for the developer Taryan Group and to be run by Anantara from 2027. What it calls residences are its units — more than two hundred rooms and suites of about 52 to 160 square metres — sold to buyers from USD 319,000 and operated as the hotel.

This is a hotel sold by the key, and the register holds it as such: the counts are 215 keys at the developer and 216 at the trade press, and no source separates homes from rooms. What title a buyer receives is not stated in the sources consulted.

Who it is not for

Not for a buyer seeking a home: the units are hotel rooms and suites in Anantara's inventory.
