Four Seasons Private Residences New York Downtown, 30 Park Place
Tribeca, New York. Four Seasons. A hundred and fifty-seven homes above the Woolworth Building's shoulder.
A limestone tower drawn to stand beside a 1913 landmark. Robert A.M. Stern gave 30 Park Place setbacks and a crown that answer the Woolworth Building on the same block: 82 storeys and 926 feet, downtown Manhattan's tallest residential tower, with a 189-key Four Seasons on the lower floors and 157 residences from the fortieth up, their own entrance on Park Place and 40,000 square feet of amenities on the 38th. Silverstein Properties built it with the California teachers' pension fund; it opened in March 2016 and has sold out.
The research named it by its address alone, without a country — the register's usual sign that a building is famous enough to need none. It joins The Sherry-Netherland and 111 West 57th Street as the third New York record written this week, and carries Manhattan's atlas district id.
Who it is not for
Not for a buyer looking to purchase from the developer: the building sold out years ago.
