Fifty-six homes announced for spring 2022 by a developer whose own release is the last word anyone has published on them.
The developer's own release is complete and six years old. Sierra Blanca Estates and FENDI Casa announced EPIC Marbella on the wire with the building licence granted, construction begun, a count of 56, prices of EUR 2.5m to EUR 7m, and completion in “Spring 2022”. FENDI Casa's role is furnishing, signature kitchens and wardrobes included — a furnishing licence, which is what the name says.
And then nothing. No first-party statement on this project has been published since. The register has not found a completion notice, a delivery announcement, a revised date or a withdrawal from either party. The completion field therefore carries the announcement and its failure to be confirmed, rather than a year the register cannot stand behind. The entry price is printed with its own date — 2020 — because a six-year-old price is a fact about 2020.
A silence after a licence is not a cancellation, and the register will not treat it as one. The status stays Under Construction because that is where the developer's last word left it. What the register is recording is the absence of a sequel, which is the only thing either party has given it to record.
