Design Hills Marbella
Ninety-two homes on the Istán road carrying a fashion house that publishes them itself — and the first of four marques one Marbella developer holds at once.
The brand publishes this one, which is rarer than it sounds. Dolce&Gabbana's own site carries Design Hills Marbella as a real-estate project, gives the count as 92, names Sierra Blanca Estates as the developer, and says the homes are “furnished with exclusive Dolce&Gabbana Casa creations”. The house's own words on completion are that the project “embarks on its journey to completion in 2026”. A brand that will put a development on its own masthead has accepted something a licensing agreement alone does not require.
What the brand does not say, the agent does — and the register keeps them apart. The One Atelier as lead architect, Fresh Architectures on the façade, Storage Milano on interiors and an entry price of EUR 4,750,000 all come from the selling agent, not from Dolce&Gabbana and not from Sierra Blanca Estates. The brand names no designer at all beyond its own furniture. No operator is named by anyone, which for a scheme of ninety-two homes with no hotel is the ordinary answer rather than a gap.
This is one of four fashion marques in one developer's hands in one town. Sierra Blanca Estates holds Dolce&Gabbana here, Armani at Nagüeles, FENDI Casa at EPIC and KARL LAGERFELD at the villas the register already holds — and it is a partner in the Las Dunas scheme now presented as St. Regis. The register has not seen that concentration anywhere else: four unrelated luxury houses licensed to one counterparty inside one municipality. Whether that is a developer with unusual reach or a licensing market with unusually low walls, the record notes it and does not decide it.
And the developer's own site could not be read. sierrablancaestates.com would not open from this session — a limit of the session, not of the site — so everything the register holds about Sierra Blanca Estates here comes from the brands' own releases, the wire services that carried them, and the agents. No first-party developer statement on this project was reached.
Not for a buyer who wants the architect and the interior designer confirmed by someone with a stake: those names rest on the selling agent alone. Not for anyone needing a completion date — the brand's phrasing is a journey, not a quarter.

A reader sent a link and said: look, there are residences in the Spanish mountains. There are — and the hotel is selling its own rooms. The Mountains at Pradollano: “You buy a hotel room and at the same time you sign a lease contract with the hotel.” Thirty-seven rooms with independent Land Registry entries, from EUR 257,000, and owner use capped at 30 nights a year or 60.
