Comporta is routinely called the Hamptons of Europe and the register records that as marketing. It is a comparison made by people selling into it, not a fact about the place, and a register that repeats it has started writing brochures. What is factual is the setting: rice fields, pine forest, dune, and an hour from Lisbon.
