Sheng Tai International announced in June 2023 that one of the nine towers of The Sail, within its 165.5-acre City of Hope in Malacca, would carry a KARL LAGERFELD hotel and branded residences — the house's third residential project after Marbella and before Al Marjan Island, alongside its 271-room hotel in Macao.
No count, no size, no price, no date. Three years after the announcement, no source reaching the register gives any of them, and the record holds the announcement alone. The register's other Karl Lagerfeld record is the villas in Dubai.
